Myths about Milk Nutrition

It's clearly a MYTH that: “Milk is essential for building healthy bones and teeth"


It is imperative to note that:

  • Actually consumption of milk leads to osteoporosis or increase the risk for fractures at a later stage in life

  • Studies have shown that milk has an animal protein that acidifies the body PH balance. The calcium in the body acts as an acid neutralizer

  • The bones in the body stores biggest amount of the calcium which are utilized to neutralize the acidifying effect of milk .

  • Once the calcium is leached out of the bones it leaves the body through urine hence this leads to calcium deficit in the body
